Southern Vietnam Family Vacations Visit Cu Chi tunnels Mekong Delta and Phu Quoc island beach

Day 1: Arrive Ho Chi Minh city. Pickup airport & transfer to hotel.

Welcome at Tan Son Nhat airport in Ho Chi Minh city by our local guide, driver and then escorted to your hotel in town.
Ho Chi Minh City, formerly Saigon, is the largest city in Vietnam named after the late communist leader Ho Chi Minh.

Day 2: Half day sightseeing tour + Half day excursion to Cu Chi tunnels (B).

After breakfast, enjoy a morning drive through typical southern Vietnamese countryside to Cu Chi to visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long struggle for independence. Then we will go back to Ho Chi Minh city around noon.

After lunch (optional), continue our journey with Ho Chi Minh City most wanted highlights such as the Post Office, Notre-Dame Cathedral, Reunification palace. Then continue towards Cholon for a quick visit of Thien Hau temple and the Binh Tay market.

Day 3: Full day excursion to the Mekong delta (B).

Heading out of the town, we travel by road to the Mekong Delta, Vietnam's largest rice bowl. On arrival in My Tho we embark on a boat navigating around the intricate small canals in the delta region, which is a great way to observe the local lifestyle close-up. The thrilling excursion will pass the lush green vegetation before arriving on an island. Here we have opportunities to visit some fascinating local industries, stroll around an orchard and taste many seasonal fruits.

After feasting on a huge lunch (optional), we return to Ho Chi Minh.

Day 4: Fly to Phu Quoc (B)

Transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport for your short flight to Phu Quoc island. Upon arrival in Phu Quoc island airport, you will be met by our local representative and transferred to your hotel.

The rest of the day is free at leisure.

Day 5: Phu Quoc beach resort (B)

Full day free at leisure to enjoy the prime beach of Phu Quoc or just relax on the hotel/resort poolside. Optional beach activities can be arranged on the spot with the resort.

Day 6: Phu Quoc beach resort (B)

Full day free at leisure to enjoy the prime beach of Phu Quoc or just relax on the hotel/resort poolside. Optional beach activities can be arranged on the spot with the resort.

Day 7: Phu Quoc beach resort (B)

Full day free at leisure to enjoy the prime beach of Phu Quoc or just relax on the hotel/resort poolside. Optional beach activities can be arranged on the spot with the resort.

Day 8: Fly back to Ho Chi Minh city (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Free at leisure until transfer to Phu Quoc airport for your short flight back to Ho Chi Minh city.

Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat airport in Ho Chi Minh city, you will be met by our local guide, driver and transferred to your hotel in town.

Day 9: Departure (B)

Free at leisure until transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport for your onward flight back home. End trip.
